When Dr. Canzoneri talks about your bite, also called occlusion, he is referring to the way in which your upper and lower teeth come together. Ideally, when your teeth come together there should be about one-half to two-thirds of the length of your bottom teeth showing. If your upper teeth cover too much of the lower teeth, then this is called an overbite, or deep bite. If your upper teeth don’t cover enough of the lower ones, then you an open bite. Dr. Canzoneri offers bite correction in Arcadia, so you can have a smile that is comfortable and attractive.

Advanced Dental Techniques Eliminating Patients Dental Fear
Within the last few years there have been many advances in dental equipment and techniques which have reduced or eliminated patient’s dental anxiety.
- Advanced Dental Lasers: In our office many dental procedures are now performed with lasers and in many cases there is no need for a dental injection. Removing cavities, treating gum disease and treating canker sores.
- Impressions: Those feared impressions that cause patients to gag and panic are no more. When we take an impression a scanner takes hundreds of photos and then sends one 3D image to the laboratory.
- Light to Detect Cavities: High intensity LED beams can be placed on a tooth to detect healthy tooth structure or an area of decay.
The dental experience is getting better day by day. Visit our office and see what advanced dentistry can do for you.
